Frequently asked questions
How much does space heater hire cost?
As a guide, a 3 kW fan heater is often around £42 a week before VAT, and a heavy duty propane space heater around £125 a week. Gas or diesel fuel is usually extra.
Can I hire a space heater with an operator?
This equipment is normally supplied for you to use yourself. Check the instructions, attachments and preparation needed when it is delivered. If you need someone to carry out the work, describe it in the notes.
How does delivery of a space heater work?
You can ask for delivery and collection or arrange to collect it yourself, depending on the equipment and the company. Give the postcode, the access, the delivery times and how it can be unloaded. Check the price of both journeys and who loads and unloads before you accept the quote.
