Which size to choose
Small rollers (1 to 3 t) suit footpaths and car parks. For roads and large areas, 7 to 10 t rollers. For trenches use a trench rammer or a wacker plate.

How much does ride-on tandem roller hire cost?
As a guide, a ride-on tandem roller of 80 cm is often around £75 a day or £250 a week before VAT, a 120 cm roller around £80 to £125 a day or £180 to £350 a week, and a 140 cm roller around £150 a day or £450 a week. Larger asphalt rollers cost more. Delivery is usually extra.
Can I hire a ride-on tandem roller with an operator?
Yes, you can ask for operated hire. Choose that option and describe the job and the hours you expect; the hire company confirms availability and quotes for the operator. Compare the total including fuel, travel and any overtime.
How does delivery of a ride-on tandem roller work?
